Our target
CIO Cafe aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. We build with semantic HTML, visible labels, full keyboard support and visible focus. The site uses one light theme with text contrast of at least 7:1 for body copy, text that scales with your browser settings, and form inputs at 16px or larger. We honor your system settings for reduced motion, increased contrast and forced colors.
What we don’t use
We do not use third-party accessibility overlay widgets. They do not fix the underlying code and can interfere with the assistive technology you already rely on.
Known limitations
- Automated and manual testing has run in Chromium across mobile and desktop viewports. Assistive-technology verification with VoiceOver on iOS and macOS and NVDA on Windows runs before each release.
- Decorative graphics are marked hidden from assistive technology, and all motion respects reduced-motion preferences.
Report a barrier
Email [email protected] with the page and what happened. A person will reply within two business days and tell you when it will be fixed.
