Fund the research CIOs read. Never the table.

Up to 3 partners a year underwrite CIO Cafe’s free public research. It is the only thing a company can sponsor here, and it is credited on every piece.

What a partnership pays for.

Open research that CIOs use to make real decisions, published free for everyone and built to be cited by search and AI answer engines.

The CIO Pulse

A quarterly read on what CIOs are deciding, drawn from anonymized, aggregated table topics. No member is ever identified.

3 of 3 partner slots open for 2027. This count is updated when a partnership is signed.

The CIO Glossary

Plain-language definitions of the terms on every CIO agenda, free for anyone to read and cite.

What partners get, and what they never get.

Partners get

  • Credit on every piece they fund, with a plain disclosure line.
  • A listing on this page for the partnership year.
  • The published research on the day it goes live, at the same time as everyone else. No early access.
  • A briefing from the editors after publication on what the aggregated data shows.

Partners never get

  • A seat at a table, or anyone in the room on their behalf.
  • Attendee lists, member names, contact details or badge scans.
  • Review or approval of anything before it is published.
  • Credit on a playbook about a product category they sell into.

Why only 3 a year.

A short list keeps every partner visible and stops any one of them from setting the agenda. Once this year’s partners are confirmed, the next opening is the following year.

CIO Cafe tables stay member-paid. That is why the research is worth funding: it comes from a room nobody bought.

How credit appears, above the headline

Funded by [Partner]. [Partner] did not see, review or shape this research before publication. CIO Cafe’s editors decide what we study and publish.
