Our target
CIO Cafe aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. We build with semantic HTML, visible labels, full keyboard support and visible focus. We honor your system settings for dark mode, reduced motion, increased contrast, reduced transparency and forced colors.
What we don’t use
We do not use third-party accessibility overlay widgets. They do not fix the underlying code and can interfere with the assistive technology you already rely on.
Known limitations
- Automated and manual testing so far has run in Chromium. Testing with VoiceOver on iOS and NVDA on Windows is scheduled before public launch.
- Some decorative animations are purely visual and are removed when you have set “reduce motion.”
