Field Briefs

The artifact, not the testimonial.

We cannot show you a case study, because the room is confidential. We can show you exactly what the room produces — which is the more useful half anyway.

Worked example

Which AI pilots do we kill this quarter?

The decision as framed, the three questions, where the room split, and what the member did next.

Briefs from founding tables

Owner: publish briefs here as founding tables run

Published within a week of each table, anonymised before it leaves the room.

What is removed before publication

Names, company names, sectors narrow enough to identify one organisation, vendor names where naming one would identify the member, and any figure specific enough to be traced back. What survives is the reasoning, which is the part worth having.

Who approves it

The member who brought the decision reads the brief before anyone else sees it and can cut anything, for any reason, without explaining why. If they cut all of it, it is not published.

Why publish at all

Because a closed room that produces nothing readable is indistinguishable from a closed room that does nothing. The brief is how the community proves it works without breaking the rule that makes it work.
