Press
What we can say, and what we never will.
Journalists are welcome. Members are not a source we can offer.
Boilerplate
CIO Cafe is an application-based peer community for chief information officers and senior technology leaders. Members meet in vetted, off-the-record tables of eight, under the Chatham House Rule with no vendors or sponsors present, to work through one hard decision at a time. Each table produces an anonymised Field Brief.
What we will never confirm
- Whether a named individual is a member.
- Which organisations are represented.
- Anything said at a table, attributed or otherwise.
This holds for every enquiry, including friendly ones, and including after a member has left. It is the same commitment members get, which is why it is published here rather than handled case by case.
What we will talk about
The format and why it is built this way, the published playbooks, the Field Briefs, and what we are seeing across tables in aggregate — which is often the more interesting story anyway.
